PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable fault reporting system of an information processor capable of immediately and surely detecting the fault in the information processor in a local area network. ;SOLUTION: In this fault reporting system of the information processor provided with an active system information processor 1, a standby system information processor 2, a second standby system information processor 3 and a transmission line 6 for respectively connecting them, by providing this fault reporting device 4 connected to a hub device 5 installed between the active system information processor 1 and the transmission line 6 for transmitting fault confirmation signals for confirming a fault generation condition to the active system information processor 1, judging that the fault is generated in the active system information processor 1 in the case that no response is present from the active system information processor 1 within prescribed time and successively transmitting fault report signals for reporting the fault to the standby system information processor 2 and the second standby system information processor 3, the fault is immediately and surely detected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
