PRINTED MATTER HAVING FINGERPRINT AND TRUTH/FALSE DISCRIMINATING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the forgery, alteration or illegal use of a card by making a fingerprint pattern with an ink containing a material which is emitted by irradiating one part of a printed matter with ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: Concerning a card 1, two center core sheets are adhered by thermal welding, and the fingerprint is printed using the ink containing the material to be emitted by irradiating the surface of one center core sheet with ultraviolet rays. Then, the fingerprint pattern of a fingerprint on a fingerprint print layer is emitted by radiating ultraviolet rays, the emitted light is received and recognized by a fingerprint pattern reading means 9, and the fingerprint pattern is transmitted to a fingerprint pattern data collating and discriminating means 11. Based on these fingerprint pattern data, data registered in a fingerprint pattern data register means 10 are collated, coincident fingerprint data are retrieved and when information registered in the coincident fingerprint pattern data is coincident, the card can be confirmed as true one.
