PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a corresponding relation between a node and terminal equipment, computer, terminal equipment, and program recording medium for easily identifying equipment to be controlled in a network wherein an equipment number for specifying the equipment changes.;SOLUTION: A DV 801a is expressed with an equipment number 109a. A PC 301 transmits a command for recording the equipment number to a DV 801a as a command 108, and a control circuit 802a extracts the equipment number 109a from the received command 108, and records it in a memory 804a. At the same time, a control circuit 802a displays the equipment number 109a recorded in the memory 804a on a display circuit 803a. Thus, it is possible to recognizes the value of the equipment number 109a for expressing the DV 801a. Thus, the equipment can be easily identified.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
