PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clinical record card system which can retrieve medical treatment support information on a patient from a clinical record card group of other patients who have similar inherent constitution. SOLUTION: DB servers 630, 631, 632, and 633 of respective medical institutions stored with gene examination results of patients are connected by a network 640 and all gene examination results from all clients are processed to retrieving processing 601. To protect private information, clinical record cards of the respective patients are stored in a DB while divided into a private information file, a medical treatment record file, and a gene examination result file of respective items. Objects which can be retrieved are limited to only the gene examination result file group and according to position information on medical treatment results of retrieval results, the treatment for obtaining the medical treatment records is executed. Thus, the private information can be protected and retrieved speedily.
