PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutation ticket issuing machine/method, which reduce the burden on an operator and can improve the work efficiency of commutation ticket issuing job. ;SOLUTION: When it is necessary to execute a second job different from a first job while the first job for issuing a group commutation ticket is executed, an operation on the second job which is to be executed to a commutation ticket issuing machine is executed through an input part 102, a station name setting part 103, a passing station setting part 104, a ticket inserting port 109 and the like. The first job during an execution is interrupted without a special interruption operation and the second job can be executed. When a prescribed time has passed after the second job executed while the first job is interrupted is completed, the interrupted first job is resumed without executing a special resumption operation. The commutation ticket issued by the first job is stacked by a stacker 110 and the commutation ticket issued by the second job is discharged from a commutation ticket issuing port 108.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
