PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain simultaneous reproduction while accurately synchronizing video data as to a plurality of angles. ;SOLUTION: An optical pickup 52 reads recording data of a DVD disk 1, a MODEM section 54 demodulates the data and the demodulated data are fed to a buffer memory 57 via a data processing section 55 and an interface 56. The data are sequentially transferred to each of FIFO memories 58-60 corresponding to three angles for each of unit data as a processing unit from the buffer memory 57 under control of a system control section 64. In this case, each of the unit data has a same time length and a same data size. Then each of decoder sections 61-63 applies decode processing to the unit data at a prescribed decode rate in proper timing depending on the data quantity in the FIFO memories 58-60 or the like, a display signal synchronously with each angle is generated and the signals are simultaneously reproduced by a plurality of monitors or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
