PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nursery stock controlling material and to provide a method for controlling the nursery stock by using the nursery stock controlling material in which a binding method of a nursery stock and a strut material by a conventional cord of Trachycarpus Fortunei is not used, a new binding means is developed, a new binding method is also developed, a nursery stock is sufficiently protected with the growth of the nursery stock by using the method, a biting in of the bound part of the nursery stock and the strut material is prevented and an operation cost and a control cost can be reduced.;SOLUTION: This nursery stock controlling material 1 is obtained by coating a wire material having flexibility such as aluminum wire, copper wire, lead wire, wire, etc., having ϕ 3.0 mm to ϕ 4.0 electric wire diameter with a specific tube having cold tolerance and about ϕ5 mm outer diameter. The nursery stock controlling material 1 is engaged with a bamboo strut material 4. A right end part 1a of the nursery stock controlling material engaged with the bamboo supporting material 4 is made to cross a left end part 1b and to wind around a nursery stock about one and a half round in the right direction based on the nursery stock. The left end part 1b of the nursery stock controlling material engaged with the bamboo strut material 4 is made to wind around the center in the left rotation direction based on the nursery stock about one and a half round.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
