PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a knee prosthesis to be prevented from spinning out without bad influence on the prosthesis by extending a slot in a selected angle and slidably housing the stopper to limit rotation of the support against a second member.;SOLUTION: A stopper 38 is placed in between a cone shape recess part 36 and the front end of the upper support face 32 on the upper support face 32 of a shank member 22. The lower support 58 of a support 54 is placed in front of a cone shape protrusion 60 and a bow shape slot 62 is formed coaxially around the axial line of the cone shape 60. The slot 62 and the stopper 38 are enabled to rotate in either directions around the axial line of the cone shape protrusion 60 of the support 54 at the standard position where the front/ back axial line of the support 54 is aligned with the front/back axial line of the shank member 22. The combination of the stopper and the slot 62 does not influence on demonstrating the standard knee function at all and can prevent generation of spin-out as a result.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
