PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dehydrating ability by adding a live steam of ≥140°C to charged sludge to convert the sludge into an associated colloid, transferring the colloid to a vacuum can body, then subjecting the colloid to a cell explosion by a French press system by rapidly reducing pressure to make the water content of dried cake ≤10% and also to enable continuous operation to be performed with the constitution of a pressure vessel and a vacuum can body.;SOLUTION: The device is constituted of a preceding stage-heat treating device having the pressure vessel 1, a total hot steam discharge port 31 in the pressure vessel 1, an inflow side control valve 3, a discharge side control valve 4 and a solenoid valve for blowing and the vacuum can body 6 having the vacuum instruments of a condenser 14, a jet ejector 19, a water seal tank 20 and a high-pressure pump 21 and an automatic discharge port 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
