CONTROLLER PROVIDED WITH VOLTAGE DOUBLER BOOSTING CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply constituted controller provided with a voltage doubler boosting circuit which is capable of preventing the leakage of direct- current components on the input side. ;SOLUTION: This controller is provided with a voltage doubler boosting circuit comprising a full-wave rectifier 2, which rectifies alternating-current power and first and second capacitors 6 and 7 connected with the output of the full-wave rectifier 2. The controller is further provided with a switching element 9, which substantially short-circuits the output of the full-wave rectifier 2, diodes 4 and 5 which prevent electric charges accumulated in the capacitors from being discharged via the switching element during short-circuiting, and a microcomputer 11 which controls the conduction of the switching element 9. The microcomputer 11 detects the input current of the full-wave rectifier and adjusts the ON-duty of the switching element so that the positive value and negative value of the input current are equal to each other.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
