PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magazine rack accommodating device in which an object to be transported can be accommodated into a magazine rack reliably and smoothly, and a magazine transport device in which the object to be transported can be can be transported from the magazine rack reliably and smoothly. ;SOLUTION: A reception port of a magazine rack 16 is formed externally extending in its width direction, so that, even when there is a transversal shift within a constant range, an object to be transported can be reliably inserted into the rack 16, a guide member 4 positioned at a predetermined reference position by a positioning mechanism 3 can be released by a means for releasing the function of the mechanism 3 while the object is transported from the guide member 4 into the rack 16. Thereby the object 1 can be smoothly inserted into the rack 16 without deteriorating the stability of a positional relation between the guide member 4 and object 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
