PRELIMINARY ALIGNMENT STRUCTURE OF OPHTHALMOMETER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate and accelerate the alignment of a subject eye and the optical axis of an ophthalmometer. SOLUTION: A cornea photographing device 1 with an alignment optical system 6 is provided with eye fixing lamps 27 and 28 respectively provided with light transmitting pattern plates 27a and 28a for fixing the subject eye E by making an examine gaze, the groups of eye fixing mark light projecting lenses 29 and 30 arranged on the side of the eye E of the respective plates 27a and 28a, diaphragms 31 and 32 arranged on the side of the eye E of the respective groups 29 and 30, and a group of optical iris projecting lenses arranged on the side of the eye E of the diaphragm 31 and 32. Then the images of the parts 31a and 32a of the diaphragm 31 and 32 are formed at positions corresponding o the pupil of the eye E respectively as optical pubils P1 and P2.
