PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a traveler, allowing spinning at a superhigh rotational speed, decreasing thread breakage rate, and improving operability and maintainability, by providing a thread guarding on a part of circular ring.;SOLUTION: This traveler 3 is characterized by a thread guarding 4 provided on part of a circular ring. It is preferable that a traveler supporting member 5 is provided to support the traveler 3 in such a way that it can rotate on the centerline of the circular ring, and also preferable that the member 5 is mounted on an existing ring rail.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
