PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test device capable of efficiently executing underground burying pipe-line continuity-inspection and a composite cable suitable for the test device easy in handling under simple equipment and working not requiring replacement of the test device.;SOLUTION: A test device 1 is divided into three before and behind parts to make a selectively expandable constitution by an expansion and contraction mechanism 4, segments 5, 7 are provided on the three-divided units 1a, 1b, 1c, and they are radially selectively constituted to be expanded and contracted by an expansion and contraction mechanism 6 to make a main part, and in addition, a composite cable 9 for the test device 1 is constituted to cover a plurality of air hoses 10, a pilot cable 11 and a traction rope 12 by a common protection layer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
