PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give versatility to a heating furnace by providing long hole-like oxidizing agent injection nozzles on both end sides of a fuel injection nozzle, in such a way that the fuel injection nozzle is positioned within the enveloping extents of the oxidizing agent injection nozzles. ;SOLUTION: A fuel injection nozzle 1 is positioned within the enveloping extent 3 of long hole-like oxidizing agent injection nozzles 2 on both end sides of the nozzle 1. When the nozzle 1 is positioned within the enveloping extent 3, fuel and an oxidizing agent are well mixed together and, in addition, combustion takes place in such a state that the spreading of the fuel is suppressed, because the fuel is wrapped in the oxidizing agent. Therefore, a short flat flame is formed. In addition, the generation of nitrogen oxides is suppressed, because no local high-temperature portion is formed due to the wake mixing combustion of a furnace gas. Moreover, the formed flat flame can exhibit a special effect to an indirect heating furnace having a limited combustion space.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
