摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a submersible target decision unit having enhanced capability for distinguishing a true submersible target from false submersible targets. ;SOLUTION: A width detection circuit 1 detects the width for every vertical direction based on the image data from a submersible imaging unit 11 and the width data is stored in a width memory circuit 2. A spreading angle detection circuit 3 reads out the data stored in the width memory circuit 2 and makes a decision whether a sumbersible target 14 is a true target or not according to a logic that the spreading angle of the sumbersible target 14 exceeds a predetermined threshold angle or not and delivers a target decision signal if the sumbersible target 14 is a true target.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
