PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate and construct a meaning attribute dictionary to be used for grasping the meaning of a text.;SOLUTION: A means 111 for collecting a document with a tag from internet, a structure conversion rule database 120 where the pattern of the tag in a document with the tag and the meaning hierarchy structure of a character string corresponding to the pattern are described, a means 112 for referring to the structure conversion rule database and extracting the hierarchy structure of the respective character strings from the collected document with the tag, a grammar analysis rule database 130 where a modification rule between words is described and a means 113 which refers to the grammar analysis rule database, divides the respective extracted character strings of hierarchy structure into the words and describes a meaning hierarchy relation at every word in a dictionary (meaning attribute dictionary) 140 are installed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
