PURPOSE:To economically execute the already known service of a telephone rate without adding a device by immediately obtaining telephone rate information by means of telex when a prefix code is transmitted from a ship earth station. CONSTITUTION:The prefix code and the telephone subscriber number of a land-side telephone terminal equipment 13 are transmitted from the telephone terminal equipment 5 of the ship earth station 2 as a dial signal. The dial signal is emitted to a satellite 1 through a radio equipment 6. The satellite 1 converts a channel and transmits it to a coast earth station 3. The station 3 takes out the dial signal from a radio carrier received in a radio equipment 9 and transmits it to an exchange 10. The exchange 10 calculates call time/minute information and telephone rate information in an accounting system 11 and emits them to the satellite 1. The satellite 1 transmits the radio carrier to the station 2. The station 2 takes out call time/minute information and telephone rate information and transmits them to a telex terminal equipment 4. Thus, the already known service of the telephone rate can economically be executed.
