PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy high thermal expansibility required for a spring material for a frame holder of a cathode-ray tube or the like in an Fe-Ni alloy and to improve its hardness and settling resistance. ;SOLUTION: An Fe-Ni-Mn alloy contains by weight, 10 to 25% Ni, 1 to 10% Mn, at least one kind of element (M element) selected from Si, Al, Mo, W, Cu, Ti, Zr, Hf, V, Nb and Ta in the range of 0.1 to 10% and the balance substantially consisting of Fe, an Fe-Ni-Cr-Mn alloy contains 10 to 25% Ni, 2 to 6% Cr, 0.1 to 10% Mn, the M element in the range of 0.1 to 10% and the balance substantially consisting of Fe or an Fe-Ni-Cr alloy contains 18 to 25% Ni, 2 to 6% Cr, the M element in the range of 0.1 to 10% and the balance substantially consisting of Fe in which the coefficient of thermal expansion in the range of 30 to 100°C is 100×10-7/°C, Vicker's hardness is Hv≥350 and the quantity to be deformed in the case of being applied to 20 times of deformation of 30 mm displacement quantity is ≤2.0 mm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
