REINFORCING METHOD, FRP REINFORCING TAPE AND REINFORCING ADHESIVE FOR CONCRETE STRUCTURAL MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the constraining effect of a reinforcing fiber by continuously winding an FRP reinforcing tape around a concrete structural member with overlapping, applying an adhesive to the reinforcing tape, and hardening the adhesive in the state where a prestress is introduced thereto. ;SOLUTION: The end part 1A of an FRP reinforcing tape 1 is fixed around a concrete column 100 subjected to surface treatment, for example, by use of a reinforcing adhesive, and the reinforcing tape 1 is continuously wound around the concrete column 100 with overlapping in a necessary number of layers while applying the reinforcing adhesive to one side or both sides thereof. When the winding work is ended, the other end part 1B of the FRP reinforcing tape 1 is pulled with a force P to introduce a prestress to the FRP reinforcing tape 1 wound on the concrete column 100. Accordingly, the tensile distortion between the adjacent FRP reinforcing tape 1 can be made constant to prevent the peeling between the FRP reinforcing tapes 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
