PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint of a screw steel rod for civil engineering construction and its manufacturing method capable of easily forming the joint by merely employing a simple structure and improving the work efficiency at a site at a low cost. ;SOLUTION: End faces of two screw steel rods 1 are butted by this nut joint 2. One screw steel rod 1 is screwed nearly to the center of the nut joint 2 having the inside screw matched with the screw diameter of the screw steel rod 1, then at least the inside screw of the nut joint 2 is deformed, and one screw steel rod 1 and the nut joint 2 are caulked via ball-caulking or die- caulking by a press from the outer peripheral side of the nut joint 2. The end face of one screw steel rod 1 is cut at a ridge or a valley, the end face of the other screw steel rod 1 is cut at a valley or a ridge on the contrary.
