PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for screw steel rods for civil engineering construction and its manufacturing method capable of easily forming the joint and improving the work efficiency at a site at a low cost. ;SOLUTION: One screw steel rod is screwed to nearly the center of a nut joint 2 having inside screws matched with the screw diameter of the screw steel rods 1, at least the inside screw of the nut joint 2 is deformed, and one screw steel rod 1 and the nut joint 2 are caulked via ball caulking or die caulking by a press from the outer peripheral side of the nut joint 2. Two screw steel rods 1 have different screw diameters, and the inside screw of the nut joint 2 has screw diameters corresponding to the screw diameters of the screw steel rods 1 across nearly the center. This joint for screw steel rods 1 for civil engineering construction is constituted of one screw steel rod 1, a fixing nut fixed by caulking in the middle, the other screw steel rod 1, and the joint nut 2 for connecting both screw steel rods 1. The length of the joint nut 2 is set to nearly two times that of the protruded portion of one screw steel rod 1 from the fixing nut.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
