PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main motion system part structure of an internal combustion engine making difficult the transmission of vibration of a crankshaft to a cylinder block to be capable of reducing a level of engine vibration and radiation noise, by aiming at and considering a position of node in a primary torsional motion of the crankshaft. ;SOLUTION: In a straight four-cylinder internal combustion engine, inertia moment (ICP, IFW) of a main motion system part (crank pulley) 11 and a main motion system part (clutch, clutch cover, and flywheel [drive plate and torque converter]) 12 is set, so as to position a node of primary torsional vibration of a crankshaft 1 on a main journal 5 (point A) between third/fourth cylinders.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
