PURPOSE: To increase the quantity of drain discharge and enhance drainage performance by installing a drain discharge cylinder in the radial outward direction of a drain outer cylinder, and in the direction deviated leftward along the counterclockwise flow of whirlpools produced in a drain trap. ;CONSTITUTION: A sealing cylinder 21 is enveloped with a drain outer cylinder 22 while a drain cylinder 24 is inserted into the sealing cylinder 21, thereby constituting a drain trap. In this drain trap, a drain discharge cylinder 23 is installed in the radial outward direction of the drain outer cylinder 22, and deviated leftward along the direction of a counterclockwise flow of whirlpools produced in the drain trap. Furthermore, it is more preferable that a plurality of lines 28 be installed in the drain cylinder 24, which extend radially, and in the shape of whirlpools. Furthermore, it is more preferable that a plurality of long holes 37a, which extend radially, and in the shape of whirlpools, is formed on a drain pan 37 which covers the upper end opening of the drain cylinder 24. This construction makes it possible to turn the flow of drain in the drain cylinder 24 to a turbulent flow directed at the drain discharge cylinder 23 and smooth the flow in a drain chamber 3000 and hence increases the quantity of drain discharge.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
