The invention relates to a device for semicontinuous polymerization of monomers using a chain initiator. It is applicable for carrying out reactions with different types of chain initiators and a catalyst - solid, liquid or in the form of suspension, as well as in the cases when there is a risk of damage if the catalyst is being injected, and when the product produced has viscosity allowing no recirculation. The device includes a reactor (1) fitted vertically towards its longitudinal axis which consist of a lower conical part (III), upper part for atomization (I) and middle part (II). Reactor (1) has inlet holes (8, 10, 20, 21) for the monomer and the chain initiator, at least one outlet hole (12), recirculation pipe (15) connected by one of its ends to hole (12) and the other end - to the upper part (I) by at least one atomizer (9) and an agitator (25). 7 claims, 1 figure
