The device includes one tank (2, 4) containing dried andair-conducting content (50) in the form of fibres and/or powderwith or of oxides of rare earth metals and connected by at leastone hole (20) to the atmosphere, and through one outlet (52), bymeans of an intake duct, to the fuel chamber of the internalcombustion engine. A tube (34) for the introduction of intake airto the content of the tank across filter (48) is also designedwhich is immersable in the content (50) of the tank, beingconnected through hole (20). Tube (34) is enveloped on itsexternal side of at least part of its length by a cylinder-likefilter (48). At least one connection of the flow (42) is providedin the device through the tube wall between the interior ofanother tube (36) and the cavity between the external tube wall(34) and filter (48), this cavity beeing sealed.10 claims, 4 figures
