The means finds application in particular in endemic goitre and in morbid conditions due to iodine-defficiency in the organism. It reduced the risk of iodine overdosage in the organism and the production of unfavourable side effects, and in adition the iodine introduced in the organisms gets quickly in the blood, also being in sufficient quantity to cover the iodine deficiency.
