The structure consists of a basic box (3) of supporting slabs (5) supported at some distance by means of braces (8) having a front edge (7) at their upper skirting, and a knife-edge support (6) on their lower skirting, and at least one of the tiers of the supporting slabs (5) of one superstructural box (4) of supporting slabs (5) coaxially positioned on the basic box, which slabs are shaped and aligned like the supporting slabs of the basic box. It is recommendable that connection devices should be designed on the line of impact of the supporting slabs lying one on top of the other thus forming a modular system consisting only of basic slabs, or basic boxes, respectively, and connecting components. 13 claims, 12 figures
