"FITTING DEFINITION ELEMENT FOR A BOTTLE CRATE, AND, BOTTLE CRATE" A fitting definition element for a bottle crate including a body element having an inner wall that defines a fitting, the fitting having a first adjacent region to an operationally internal end of the fitting for locating a bottle cap; and a second intermediate region between a socket entrance and the location region, the inner wall of the body element that limits the second region being shaped and configured to provide a working space between it and the cover and the axial dimension of the region location being at most a quarter of the axial dimension of the socket. The invention extends to a bottle crate having at least one of these fittings.
