The tracks comprise periodic characteristics, e.g.A ripple (wobble) which are radially aligned in each of the zones, the frequency being indicative of the density of recording of the trail to trail involved.The data recording and reading speed can be synchronized with the periodic characteristics.While any cross talk of the periodic characteristics of neighboring tracks is avoided.
