Unitary galenic form for vaginal use as local contraceptive and/or for control of sexually communicable diseases and/or HIV and process for preparing thereof

The invented galenic form, having both an external envelope containing gelatin and a liquid or semi-liquid non-aqueous internal phase containing an active substance in a solution, has the active component formed by spermicide and the internal phase contains in addition to the active substance a lipophilic agent being compatible with synthetic rubber latex of condom, at least one agent being dispersible in water, whereby the amount of the lipophilic agent is greater than the amount of the agent being dispersible in water, and further at least one biologically adhesive agent and at least one gel-forming agent of the lipophilic agent. This galenic form, which is intended for vaginal use and provided so far known advantages of soft capsule, exhibit at the same time spermicidal, antiseptic and lubricating properties and in addition thereto it is reliably compatible with condoms without risk of damage to their synthetic rubber latex.
