A powdered pulverulent composition that is completely or almost completely redispersible in water, based on a film-forming polymer prepared from ethylenically unsaturated monomers. The powdered pulverulent composition is used as an adjuvant in inorganic hydraulic binding compositions to improve the properties after hardening, such as adhesion to various substrates, leaktightness, flexibility and mechanical properties. The redispersible powder is stable on storage without agglomeration. The powder is prepared with at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer, at least one non-ionic surfactant chosen from polyoxyalkylated derivatives and at least one water soluble compound chosen from polyelectrolytes from the family of weak acids.
