BUS ANALYZER AND ITS BUS RESET DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To explicitly indicate information relating to bus reset. SOLUTION: A communication means 11 of the bus analyzer 10 receives a communication packet for communication between devices connecting to a 1394 bus 20. A communication record generating means 12 processes the received communication packet and the communication record is recorded by a recording means 13. Furthermore, when the communication means 11 detects a bus reset, occurrence of the bus reset is fed to the communication record generating means 12 and the recording means 13 records it as a communication record similarly to the case with a communication packet. The communication record recorded by the recording means 13 is displayed on a display means 14 by the communication record generating means 12.
