摘要

A method has been developed which enhances the effectiveness of chlorine dioxide bleaching of lignocellulosic materials. It is effected by adding to the chlorine dioxide bleaching stage an aldehyde compound at a concentration of from about 0.01 % to about 20 %, by weight of the oven-dried lignocellulosic material.
