The siren includes two driven magnet systems, each with its own pressure chamber (3) and acoustic horn (4). The rotatable magnet rings (1) are designed to work in synchronism. The magnet systems each comprise a rotor with a number of magnet poles arranged in a ring and a swing body (2) with corresponding magnet poles, a pressure chamber, and an acoustic horn connected to the chamber. Periodic interaction between the magnet poles during rotation of the rotor generates sound waves that are transmitted via the pressure chamber and horn.
