The device comprises a screw joint (6, 7) used to hold two abutting ducting plate sections (11, 12) together. One of the screw fitting components insertible into the holes in the sections is provided with at least one wing piece (9) designed to cut into the plate section inside the hole as the fitting is pulled out, in order to maintain electrical contact. Independent claims are also included for (a) cable ducting or carrier strips provided with this device, and (b) a method for equalising potential in electrical ducting using this device.
