Screw conveyor with an axleless spiral in a rotary housing

Rotatable flanges (5, 9) are used to secure the goods inlet (1) to the conveyor (3), and to secure the goods outlet (8) to the conveyor and its drive mechanism (11). The conveyor comprises a tubular casing of wear-resistant material, e.g. polyethylene, and contains a shaftless screw (4). A roller system (7) in the top part of the casing is used to rotate the screw. The conveyor is supported on two struts (2, 6) and provided with an outlet for water.
