PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING REINFORCED DUROPLASTIC PIPES IN A CENTRIFUGAL PROCESS AND INSTALLATION FOR CARRYING OUT THE PROCESS

In order to eliminate material distribution inaccuracies, which are inevitablewhen tubes are centrifugally cast with knowndevices, a new process and plant are disclosed. The plane has at least twocylindrical centrifuging drums (1) that serve as matricesand an injection carriage (12), provided with a charging arm (11), movable intwo mutually perpendicular directions. The noveltyof the invention consists of mounting the carriage on a frame (9) movable in atransverse direction to the axis of the matrix (10),on the bottom (8) of tire housing; and the carriage can move on the frametransversely to the travelling direction of the latter. Thecarriage has a sand working silo (13) of relatively small volume linked by afirst hope (19) to a large silo (20) out of which it ispractically continuously refilled by pneumatic transport. Both silos areprovided with weight measurement cells connected with acalculating, and controlling device (30) which controls the supply of sand,resin and glass fibers according to a programme that isspecific for each tube design.
