The invention relates to a method to provide a service to a user of asubscriber in a universal personal telecommunication network. The methodincludes the step of requesting access by the user to the telecommunicationnetwork via a terminal and via an access subnetwork of the telecommunicationnetwork in order to provide thereby an access request. The method furtherincludes the step of providing by a notifying service provider to the user viatheaccess subnetwork, a notification which includes a capability to accept aserviceof an offered service provider. In the event when the notifying serviceprovider isa home service provider of the user, the offered service provider is differentof thenotifying service provider. The offered service is a virtual visitedenvironmentsimilar to a virtual home environment but identified by the user as visitorand theoffered service provider.
