There is disclosed electronic conmerce apparatus and method,which can improve a sales efficiency by carrying out product salescorresponding to the product purchase characteristic of the buyerin the electronic commerce using a computer network, and a recordingmedium for storing electronic commerce programs. This electroniccommerce apparatus comprises a buyer tape estimation unit forderiving a buyer type indicating a tendency of a buyer in buyingthe product based on history of transaction data between the buyerwho buys the product and a seller, a transaction data storage unitfor storing the transaction data, and a product offering datageneration unit for controlling variably product offering data tobe offered to the buyer every buyer according to the buyer type,whereby the product purchase characteristic of the buyer is estimatedaccording to the history of the transaction data, and a product priceis decided every buyer according to this characteristic value.
