RETINOIC ACID INDUCIBLE DNA SEQUENCES FROM LUNG CELLS

Nucleic acid sequences and corresponding polypeptides that are expressed bylung tissue, the expression of which is induced by retinoic acid or inhibitedby retinoic acid, are provided. These polypeptide sequences, and the humancounterparts, can be used to promote cell differentiation and/orproliferation, especially of alveolar tissue. Also, these cDNAs can be used toidentify other retinoic acid inducible sequences.
