RETINOIC ACID INDUCIBLE DNA SEQUENCES FROM LUNG CELLS

Nucleic acid sequences and corresponding polypeptides that are expressed by lung tissue, the expression of which is induced by retinoic acid or inhibited by retinoic acid, are provided. These polypeptide sequences, and the human counterparts, can be used to promote cell differentiation and/or proliferation, especially of alveolar tissue. Also, these cDNAs can be used to identify other retinoic acid inducible sequences.
