An external fixator structure for the treatment of fractures, dislocations and post-traumatic rigidity of the elbow joint includes a pair of clamps (5; 6) for bone screws (S; T) to be inserted into bones (U; O) from opposite sides respect to the anatomical axis of the joint (ut/u), a pair of extremity elements (2, 3) connected to the corresponding clamps (5, 6) by means of respective universal joints (13; 14) provided with stops (21, 22), a central element (4) for the articulated connection of the extremity elements with a pair of slides (23; 24) connected by a bolt (25) defining a mechanical axis (um/u) of the fixator structure, stops (30; 36) associated to the slides, distraction means (46) capable of acting on the central element (4) for distraction of the mechanical axis (um/u) so as to take the load off the cartilage of the joint and favour mobility in the case of post-traumatic rigidity. The distraction means include a first auxiliary unit (46) composed of a third slide (47) which can anchored along the longitudinal guiding means (2'; 3') facing one of the first two slides and a second auxiliary unit (58) acting on the extremity elements for angular distraction.
