摘要
The invention relates to a novel building method for strips located between embankment reinforcements and the road characterized in that said strips are permeable thereby enabling passage and filtration of rainwater and additionally have absorption wells for collecting said rainwater thereby helping the latter penetrate into the subsoil after filtering. The building method of said strips located between the embankment reinforcements and the road includes the following steps: 1) excavating a strip in the area where the asphalt or concrete carpet joins the embankment reinforcements by demolishing the existing pavement and excavating the soil; 2) compacting the soil using manual or mechanical means; 3) placing an impermeable membrane on the ends of the road and separating the latter from the permeable strip; 4) placing an aggregates filling or primary layer, wherein appropriate granulometry or particle size should be chosen for said purpose and dust or talc size particles excluded; 5) casting a permeable concrete flagstone comprising aggregates containing no fine particles so as to enable permeability. The top permeable concrete strip enables free runoff of water which can then be conducted to any given location. Furthermore, a second layer of filling is placed on the compacted soil, the size of the particles being sufficiently big so as to prevent subsidence and deformations. Absorption wells are located under the filling along the permeable concrete strip, said wells collecting the water and conducting the latter to the subsoil. An embankment reinforcement on the ends of the fillings is also included, in addition to a permeable concrete layer or flagstone and an impermeable coating between the existing carpet and the permeable strip. The technical field of application of the present invention relates to building methods for streets and roads, more particularly the areas in which the asphalt or concrete carpet joins the embankment reinforcements.
