DOLL SIMULATING ICE SKATING OR DANCING SPIN MOVES

A doll (10) includes a waist belt (13) rotatably secured between upper and lower torso portions (11, 12) of the doll. A spring driven windup mechanism is supported within the upper torso of the doll and is operative to rotate the upper and lower torsos with respect to the waist belt. The waist belt further includes a pair of outwardly supported belt loops (40) which may be used to hold the waist belt of the doll as the upper and lower torsos spin to simulate activities such as skating or dancing. In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, a cooperating support doll (60) is configured to couple to the waist belt (40) to simulate support typical of pairs skating or pairs dancing.
