The invention relates to a system (1) for producing dental models (7, 8), fillings and/or dental prostheses with the help of a laboratory. Said system comprises a support element (2) which is provided for a lower dental model (7) and a retainer element (4) which is provided for an upper dental model (8). Said support element (2) and said retainer element (4) are interconnected via a connecting element (3). Said connecting element has at least one joint element which permits the support element (2) and the retainer element (4) to be swiveled in relation to each other about an axis. The invention also relates to a method for producing dental models (7, 8), fillings and/or dental prostheses with the help of a laboratory.
