The present invention relates to a device used in ophthalmology, more precisely to devices for eyesight correction and/or for training the eyes, and may be used in order to restore or improve eyesight. This device includes an instrument that comprises a screen for displaying images and which is designed so that the images can be changed in a predetermined sequence and/or so that their arrangement on the screen can be altered. This instrument is also capable of generating images having different dimensions and/or different colours. The device of the present invention further includes a system for generating stereoscopic effects on the images, wherein said system may consist, e.g., of stereoscopic glasses.
