we described the use of antigen combined with an enzymatic activity for detection of immune complexes prepared from mixtures containing antigens and antigenic conjugates, which allows the detection of low titre antibodies through the development of a color reaction.the method is based on the specificity of the antibodies and can be used in the diagnosis of infectious diseases, provided that it is used with the appropriate antigen.the requirements for the diagnosis of chagas' disease using recombinant antigens of trypanosoma cruzi as described in the patent application pct / ro / 91 (brazilian submission number 9001479 work of 30 march 1990)and are indicated in the diagnosis of chagas' disease in immunologically using either elisa or antigen immobilized on solid supports such as pyroxylin, nylon, polyvinyl chloride, polycarbonate, and the polyallomu00e8re.
