SEAT STRUCTURE FOR BICYCLE WITH ANTIWEAR PROTECTION

A seat of saddle structure for bicycle with anti-wear protection comprising a shaped frame (2) of substantially rigid pre-formed material provided with means for connection to a bicycle frame, a padding (5) anchored to the upper surface (4) of the shell and a covering layer (6) placed on the upper side of the padding and fixed to the lower edge (7) of the shell (2). There is provided at least an anti-wear layer of elastically yielding material (9, 9') protruding from the lateral surface of the covering layer (6) so as to avoid direct contact of the seat with abrasive external surfaces. A pair of anti-wear layers (9, 9') protruding from the lateral surface of the seat, are placed in substantially symmetric positions with respect to the longitudinal axis (L) of the same, in the zone of maximum transversal section of the seat.
