METHOD FOR PRODUCING SOFT PVC FOAMED MATERIALS

The invention relates to a method for producing soft PVC foamed materials, wherein the following additives are added to a plastisol containing PVC: (a) an alkaline-earth salt of an alkylarylsulfonic acid of formula R-Ar-SO3H, whereby R stands for alkyl and Ar stands for aryl; (b) a non-ionogenic surfactant; (c) an epoxy compound having two or more epoxy groups; (d) an alkaline-earth salt of a higher fatty acid and (e) an aliphatic dicarboxylic or polycarboxylic acid, whereby a foamable composition is obtained which is foamed and the gelified. The invention also relates to soft PVC foamed materials produced according to said method and to a composition comprising additives (a), (b) and (e), especially with respect to their use in a method as disclosed in the invention.
